Take the dirty bedding out daily if needed. Don’t let it stay there for a long time as it's best for your horses health and may let your horse feel uncomfortable.
If you need to prioritise the droppings should be taken out every single day, whilst the wet can be taken once in two days.
Add ½ bag to replace each spot that you’ve mucked out.
Add slightly damp wood pellets to avoid the bed becoming dusty. This will also help to keep it fresh.
We recommend slightly damping the pellets in the bag before you add those into the stable.
If you find the horse bedding a bit dusty during the summer, just sprinkle some water and keep on doing this procedure if needed throughout the day.
Once in two weeks muck out the solids from the back and underneath of the stable and replace it with clean and fresh wood pellets
Be generous when setting up the new bed. We recommend our customers to keep the bed thick and cosy.
